Zaki Shahamat has led Shayan since its establishment in 2016. His media management experience, as well as his knowledge of the media and political landscape has been invaluable for the company’s growth and success throughout the years. Zaki has also been a regular contributor and participant in various civil society forums and initiatives in Afghanistan. Prior to the establishment of Shayan, Zaki has advised the U.S. government in Afghanistan, and has served as a member of the leadership board of DHSA/The Killid Media Group (TKG).
